Disparity in Food Consumption Patterns in Banten Province

Food problems arise from a lack of food diversity, high prices, and culture that does not support an adequate supply nutrients in the household. This study aimed to analyze disparity consumption patterns population Banten Province based on typology region administrative area Province. The research method was explorative with retrospective approach using secondary data, namely National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) 2017. type data collected presented form table average quantity per commodity household order units capita / week. Data analysis carried out quantitatively by descriptive methods. results study, Province, showed regional where energy for households rural areas still higher, 2404 Kcal compared urban areas, which 2338 dominated sources grains. regency is 2315 - 2489 kcal/capita/day while 2294 – 2406 kcal/capita/day. conclusion districts highest levels adequacy are found Lebak Pandeglang but have lowest PPH scores other districts.
